22nd Century Klingon Raptor

This model was made to replace the aging (and super inaccurate) Raptor model currently in Star Trek: Continuum. It is the second version of her that I made. The first model was a joint project between myself, and an artist named Charvell. Some parts of the first model are in this model. Like the piping on the head, and the main hull antenna. The original model was good for its time (circa 2003-2005), but she was made using the only reference available at the time from ST: the Magazine. Which the reference unfortunately was missing some important components.

This new model I used a 5 view render of the actual filming CGI from Drex Files as my study, and renders from Robert Brochune's Raptor model to fill in the gaps i couldn't see on the 5 view. The textures are all hand drawn (with photoshop help of course). The coloring is as close as i can get to the Film CGI reference. I am not going to claim 100% accuracy with this model. Much of it is eyeball, because of vague reference details. However my goal was to get it "close enough". It is a gaming model after all. While some main details are meshed in the majority of the detail is textured, and normal mapped. She turned out better than i expected when imported into Homeworld: Remastered.
